Kreeda Games India Pvt. Ltd. was founded in November 2006 by three mavericks in a small garage with very big dreams. Today, funded by IDG Ventures and SoftBank Bodhi Investment, two of the top venture capitalists in online gaming for emerging markets, Kreeda is proudly India’s first dedicated Massive Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG) operator.

Kreeda believes the Indian gaming market is ready to explode. With the potential to become as big, exciting and profitable as it is in other developed gaming countries such as China, USA and Korea to name a few. Kreeda is working with top international developers and publishers to bring to India the latest and most sought after multiplayer online games. We select games with a proven track records and growing popularity in developed gaming markets. Our games are carefully chosen, keeping in mind the digital infrastructure of India (such as internet speeds, PC penetration, graphic cards, etc.) to ensure that Indian players get an optimized gaming experience, comparable to anywhere in the world.

Through Kreeda’s online games, on-ground events and entertainment services, we intend to bring the nation closer together by building extensive communities of users and players who will have the chance to network, socialize and play together.

Quentin Staes-Polet, CEO and Co-founder, was IBM’s Digital Media Practice Leader for Asia Pacific Media and Entertainment. As Asia Pacific head consultant for on-line games, M&E and triple play, he has helped clients across the region set up their business strategies. Before joining IBM he also spent 10 years in the music industry across Asia. His experience and knowledge in marketing and sales of consumer goods and online services adds to his passion for gaming as a business and as an agent for social change.

Ramesh Anumukonda, Chief Gaming Officer and Co-Founder, is a known pioneer in the Indian animation and game industry. In his roles as IBM’s Media & Entertainment Specialist and Pentamedia’s Project Lead, Ramesh has led many large development projects for clients like Electronic Arts, Atari (Infogrammes), Koei (Japan). Ramesh is also a member of SEI-CMM Certification Board to set process standards in Entertainment & Media Companies in India.

Robin Alter, CTO and Co-Founder, has been designing and implementing media and information systems for management and delivery of content for over 15 years. After graduating Carnegie-Mellon, he spent 8 years in technology architecture and sales at IBM in K-12 Education and Finance Industries. As an international consultant, he has worked with the large telco’s and media companies in the US, Europe and Asia. His passion for gaming stems from seeing the benefits of learning while playing as a means to improve ourselves and the world around us.

Vikram Khanna is a Computer Science graduate with over fourteen years of experience across industries in large corporations and multiple entrepreneurial ventures. Since he laid his hands on his first PC in 1983, Vikram has remained a hard-core gamer while building his own businesses in technology, entertainment, and hospitality segments.
Before joining the Kreeda Marketing Team, Vikram managed and set strategy for Indiatimes.com Gaming Division. He has stayed at the forefront of the latest technology and kept pace with the revolutionary change happening in India. He joined Kreeda with only one goal in mind, to create the best game company in the world and focused on the potential of India.

 

Rupali Arte is the only non-gamer in the Kreeda Crew, but has still managed to master Kreeda's DanceMela. In fact, she heads its Product Team. She has worked in the media world for over 14 years, in companies ranging from successful start-ups to one of the largest media firms in India. She started out at Zee TV as part of a new business team, helping the station become one of the leading channels in the country. She later moved to another setup SET India. She was deeply involved in all aspects of the TV production process of shows and promos and handled everything from scheduling to deliveries. Later she joined the Times Group as part of the newly formed Entertainment Team and was instrumental in setting up Planet M and Radio Mirchi. With 3 years in radio at Mirchi and RED FM, a stint in television production, and a sabbatical in Events with Shobiz, Rupali's last stop was at Channel [V] as the EP for the channel. Her passion and expertise in trend-setting youth markets brings her to Gaming - the new frontier.
